As a Christian teacher the call of God is upon you. When you stand before children and young people to impart knowledge and mould the character of their lives, you are using the gifts that your Heavenly Father deposited into you before the foundation of the world. God has a purpose and a plan for you as a teacher and He provides the necessary resources that will bring excellence to your God ordained calling.
In Zechariah 4:6 we read
So he said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty.
All that the Lord desires you to do, as a Christian teacher will only happen with God’s enabling and with God’s plan. It is clear from the passage in Zechariah that the Lord wants us to rely on the power of the Holy Spirit rather than our own natural ability.
The Holy Spirit becomes great in us as we crucify the flesh.
Galatians 2v20 says
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
We need to yield to the Holy Spirit continually by being obedient to His every request. As we are obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit we find that we are decreasing and that He is increasing. It is the Holy Spirit living in us that provides the necessary characteristics of patience, gentleness and kindness.
Galatians 5:22-25 says
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
It is the power of prayer that will keeps us “in step with the Spirit”. Miracle Education is a prayer ministry to the body of Christ with a desire to see each part of the body be all that it can be enabled by the Holy Spirit. Miracle Education is a prayer network that has a desire to provide you with the prayer support necessary to stir up the presence of the Holy Spirit within you and see Him move through you unrestricted.
In the book of Acts 5:15-16 we read of a powerful account of moving with the Holy Spirit.
15As a result of the apostles' work, sick people were brought out into the streets on beds and mats so that Peter's shadow might fall across some of them as he went by. 16Crowds came in from the villages around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those possessed by evil spirits, and they were all healed.
The same Holy Spirit that worked miracles in Peter’s life is living within you. As your awareness of the Holy Spirit develops and your trust in Him grows you will act like the apostle Peter. When children and young people are standing close to you, without you even declaring the power of the gospel, they will be set free. They will be healed of ALL sicknesses and diseases, by the power of the Holy Spirit. They will be released from ALL demonic influences operating over their lives. Children will be healed of blindness, deafness and ALL other learning difficulties. Young people will be set free from suicide, eating disorders and self mutilation. The power of satan was broken at Calvary by God Almighty, Jesus Christ His Son and the Holy Spirit. You are a vessel that the power of God flows through. As you yield to the Holy Spirit flowing through you, He will cause burdens and bondages that are upon the youth to be destroyed. You have the privilege to see the children and young people set free!
In John 8:36 (NLT) we read
So if the Son sets you free, you will indeed be free.
The Lord has designed us to work together as a body. We are not asked to work alone or independently of other Christians. As we function as the body of Christ then we are encouraged and strengthened by each other and by the power of the Holy Spirit flowing through a united body. It is the Holy Spirit within you that provides all the wisdom and insight you need.
Ephesians 1:17 says
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
The Holy Spirit can provide wisdom for every situation that you as a Christian teacher face whether it be in the classroom, staffroom or playground. You are able to bring the presence of God Almighty into the areas of influence that you have in the education department.
'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty.
